Daisies

Our daisy classroom is designed with little explorers in mind. With a 4.5:1 ratio, little learners can be adventurous and safe.

The first three years are incredibly important time in a growing child’s life. They are on the move! Exploring and learning from their surroundings and the people with which they share their time. Everything in our spaces is designed for little explorers to learn and discover. Following the High-Scope Curriculum you will find spaces for:

Dramatic Play

Math and Manipulatives

Science and Investigation

Reading and Literacy

Sensory Exploration

Building and Engineering

Waldorf Walls

Even the colors of our classroom walls are chosen with great care. Waldorf's philosophy promotes the intentional use of color. For early childhood, light red is the color of choice. Why the red? Young children are active, fiery, and always on the move. Children experience the complementary color of what they see, so when they're in a room of soft red, they experience green, which is a calming, soothing color.
